Well, the holiday season has come and gone! Advent and Christmas went by so quickly; it's hard to believe that they're taking down decorations around the house! I'm not old enough to remember a time when Christmas celebrated until February 2nd, but I can see the sense of it. I mean, think about it: 50 days of Lent, 50 for Easter, and then a three week Advent and an even shorter Christmas? I miss it already! I think it's more important that we celebrate and live the Incarnation of the Lord each and every day.

I had a chance to visit friends and family in New Jersey for about week. It was lovely to reconnect with them, to celebrate the season, and to relax. It was truly a blessing for me!
