End of year reflection

As I reflect upon the end of my first year out in the local home after novitiate, I find myself most struck by how real life is. The daily requirements of work, errands, and taking care of the house (grocery shopping, cleaning) are very much like anyone else's life.

It is both a challenge and inspiration to keep my relationship with Jesus my Spouse in the center of it, and to find God's presence in all that I do and everyone that I meet. It has redefined the concept of the witness that a religious sister gives: we point to His presence within and around us at all times.
We remind people of that by the example of our lives.

It is something that I feel both called to and confronted by as I continue my spiritual journey.
