Follow me as I journey as a Felician Franciscan Sister. I am currently a classroom teacher and I love what I am doing. The juggle between my active life and my prayer life are slowly coming into rhythm. Hope you enjoy my little stories about my "life".

July Update
One of the sisters that I live with just had brain surgery, which has significant recovery time and is a procedure that is done in parts. I spent a week or so helping her as best I could, while I ran errands, arranged to see people over vacation, and packed. Though it had its busy moments, it was certainly quiet, as someone needed to be home with Sister at all times. I enjoyed the stillness and the quiet partly as a break from the craziness of the end of the school year and of our road trip to Michigan, and partly to counteract the busy-ness of all the visiting that I'd be doing.
I was ready for vacation when the time came! It was definitely time. I was able to connect with family and friends before I move. We went to movies, out to eat, and to the mall. It was lovely to see everyone.
